بررسی وضعیت مطالعۀ دانش‌جویانِ دانشگاه هرات

مطالعه ابزاری‌است که توسط آن ایده‌ها و تجارب نخبه‌گان در سطح جامعه تسرّی می‌یابد. مطالعه ضامن پایداری فرهنگ نیز می‌باشد؛ طوری‌که نِحله‌های فکری و عقیدتی، ره‌یافت‌های علمی، آموزه‌های دینی، فلسفی، هنری و عرفانی، مدیون ثبت و خوانده‌شدن می‌باشند. پژوهش کنونی از آن جهت، که می‌توان با درک و فهم درست از فرایند و شکل مطالعه در میان دانش‌جویان و هم‌چنان با کشف عوامل مؤثر بر این فرایند، زمینه‌ساز افزایش سطح آن شده و در جهت رفع آن چالش‌ها عمل نماید، پی‌ریزی شده است. در این پژوهش به بررسی میزان مطالعه، نوعیت محتوای مورد مطالعه و عوامل مؤثر بر مطالعۀ دانش‌جویان دانشگاه هرات پرداخته شده است. پژوهش کنونی به‌صورت پیمایشی و به کمک پرسش‌نامه در مورد ۳۰۰ تن از دانش‌جویان دانشگاه هرات در آغاز سال ۱۴۰۳، با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری غیراحتمالی- سهمیه‌یی اجرا شده است. نتایج این پژوهش نشان می‌دهند که: ۶۳.۷ درصد از دانش‌جویان دانشگاه هرات کم‌تر از ۱۱ ساعت در هفته به مطالعۀ منابع درسی می‌پردازند؛ درحالی‌که ۵۸.۴ درصد از این دانش‌جویان به همین میزان منابع غیردرسی مطالعه می‌کنند. هم‌چنان میزان مطالعۀ غیردرسی دانش‌جویان دانشگاه هرات نسبت به میزان مطالعۀ درسی پایین‌تر می‌باشد. کتاب‌های انگیزشی پُراستفاده‌ترین و شعر و رُمان کم‌استفاده‌ترین محتواهایی است که دانش‌جویان دانشگاه هرات مطالعه می‌کنند. حدود نیمی از دانش‌جویان مورد بررسی هیچ کتابی در سال گذشته نخوانده اند. بناءً میزان مطالعه در میان این دانش‌جویان به نسبت به سایر کشورهای پایین می‌باشد و عواملی هم‌چون داشتن شغل، عوامل صحی- روانی، رسانه‌های اجتماعی و شرایط اقتصادی بر این فرایند مؤثر می‌باشد.
