Study of the Psychological and Social Consequences of Pornography

The changes in today's world and the advancement of information technology have brought about extensive changes in human life. The age of communication and technology, with all its possibilities and advances, has also caused crises; one of them is the moral crisis, the prevalence and viewing of immoral and obscene images, which has caused many psychological and social consequences and affected the individual and social lives of people. This research was formed with the aim of studying the psychological and social consequences of pornography on the Internet; therefore, this article answers this question: What are the psychological and social consequences of pornography? This research is based on the purpose, applied, based on data measurement, descriptive-documentary, and the information was used from books, reliable scientific articles and internet sites. The research results show that addiction to pornography and watching porn movies can have adverse psychological and social consequences for people.
